Sunprint Image

My edited sunprint image. I used one of the filters on Photoshop to distort the background and mix the blue and green together.

Photoshop Altered Image

This is one of my favorite's because it doesnt look like a photo. The lines and curves in this photo look like I had painted it. It amazes me how you can alter pictures to look like something else. I definitely want to continue doing this in some other pictures of mine.

My Choice

I took this picture of grass when the sun was rising in the morning. The grass looks as though it is both cool and wet with the dew drops on the tips of the blades of grass. I had to get really low to the ground at grass level to capture this photo without getting my camera wet from the dew.

Photo in the Style of the Photographer Studied

This photograph was taken in the style of Lisette Model's Running Legs series. I caught my friend just as she was stepping off the curb. Lisette Model did a series she called running legs in which I recreated here.

Best Actor Head Shot

Drama Student displaying anger. I like the shadows in this photo because it almost makes it seem a bit darker yet the light on her face really makes her facial expression pop.

Environmental Portrait

A picture of my friend who is also taking a picture. This was taken on the levee in the morning. My friend, Kaela, loves photography but doesnt like to be in pictures so i pretended i was taking a picture of the scene behind her but secretly turned my camera a little more so she was in it.

Self Portrait

My self portrait in my running jersey. This was taken midday on a field. The lighting in this picture makes it feel calm and happy.

Scanner Photo

For my scanner art I wanted to convey a old, vintage, at-home feeling. I combined an old picture of my mom and my dad and grandparents with some little objects like the feather and coin.

Ansel Adams Nature Photography

This picture was taken while i was in Colorado. I didnt no at the time that this picture of my vacation would be the perfect example of an Adams photograph. He took pictures of nature landscapes and this picture is a good example because in it you can see the shape of the mountains, trees covering the landscape and leftover snow thats beginning to melt.

Principle of Design

This photo represents Emphasis. The white feathers of the Egret make it pop out more and draw the eye to it while the darker grass in the picture makes a neutral background.

Element of Design

This photo represents Texture. The bumps and rough tips of the plant are clearly defined as it emerges from the water. I like this photo because of how the green and yellow of the plant stand out and is reflected on the water.
